Permitted tire combinations for passenger cars and trailers:

If the car has studded tires, the trailer must have studded tires
If the car has unstudded tires, the trailer can have unstudded or studded tires

SUMMER ROAD LAW (Winter time)
Permitted tire combinations for passenger car and trailer.

If the car has studded tires, the trailer can have unstudded, studded or summer tires
If the car has unstudded tires, the trailer can have unstudded, studded or summer tires
If the car has summer tires, the trailer can have unstudded, studded or summer tires

PLEASE NOTE!
The exemptions from the winter tire requirement for vehicles with 10″ tires or less do not apply if the car has studded tires.
