About STRO

STRO – The Scandinavian Tire & Rim Organization – was established in 1960 and has since been working to set technical standards in the tire, rim and wheel industry. The standards developed by the STRO are based on applicable international standards with adaptation to specific Nordic needs.

STRO also promotes the dissemination of common technical information on tires and rims to consumers and the media.

The STRO cooperates with the relevant authorities, the automotive and vehicle industry, and with the retail side of the tire industry.

STRO counts within its ranks the collective technical expertise in the tire field in the Nordic region.
