DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT VALVE?
There are 2 main types of valves for passenger cars and light trucks.

Rubber valve Metal valve

The valves are designed for different maximum pressures!

Rubber valves are available in two versions: the standard rubber valve, which can withstand a maximum pressure of 450 kPa, and the high-pressure rubber valve, which can withstand a maximum pressure of 700 kPa.
The metal valve can withstand a maximum pressure of 1400 kPa.

LOOK OUT!
If the vehicle has a recommended tire pressure close to 450 kPa or higher, there is a risk that the vehicle owner will pump a higher pressure. The tire pressure also increases when the tires get hot.
In this case, a standard rubber valve cannot be used and a high-pressure valve or a metal valve must be chosen.
This problem is not uncommon on motorhomes and caravans!

We strongly recommend using metal valves at speeds above 210 km/h. There is a high risk of a rubber valve bending at high speeds, resulting in air leakage.
