Organization

STRO – The Scandinavian Tire & Rim Organization – was established in 1960 and has since then worked to establish technical standards in the tyre, rim and wheel industry.
The standards developed by STRO are based on applicable international standards adapted to specific Nordic needs.
STRO also promotes the dissemination of common technical information on tires and rims to consumers and the mass media.
STRO cooperates with the relevant authorities, the automotive and vehicle industry and the retail sector of the tire industry.
STRO counts within its ranks the collective technical expertise in the field of tires in the Nordic countries.
